The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. While walking the beach of Lake Michigan I find myself always noticing the changes on the beach due to the waves, wind and seasons. The texture of sand with it's many changing colors is the perfect backdrop for any natural still life. These fall leaves are a reminder that the waves will soon be silent.
